HOW TO WEAR A TINO BAND UNIFORM
- Please wear clean under garments.
- Under your uniform it is most comfortable to wear a tee shirt, P.E. shorts or jogging shorts. You will be changing in front of your fellow band members, some times in a bathroom or in our bus area.
- You will need black knee socks. These socks may not have a logo that is below the pant hem. If a logo shows during a Uniform inspection at the parade route it can be as much as one tenth a point deduction for the band, this also includes if your socks are not high enough to cover your skin below the pant hem.
- Pants go on first with straps over the shoulders and cross in the back. The pants are about 4 inches from the floor. I was told they are this high in case there is something in the road that would dirty the pants, (road apples). Please do not make the pants lower to the ground all uniforms must look alike for judging.
- Shoes; band shoes only, black, clean. This is also part of the judging.
- Jacket; gold braids to the shoulders, zipped and snapped.
- Shako; (hat) put plume in slot at the top, chin strap under chin. Girls, your hair must be in a bun, every one must look alike.
- Last but not least; no make-up or jewelry. Every one must look alike.

| How to Pick Up Your
Potatoes |
| Friday, September 8, 2006
|
|
Every Tuesday before a home game, potatoes
will be delivered to the Band Room. The
sign up sheet for baking and selling will be
posted on the wall above the potatoes. A
convenient time to check the list or pick up
potatoes is before or after the Band Rehearsals
and/or Booster Meetings.
People baking potatoes should: 1.
Fill a trash bag with the number of potatoes you
are baking. 2. Check off your name and
put how many potatoes you picked up. 3.
Pick up the directions on how to bake the
potatoes, if you need it. 4. Bring your
potatoes, in a cooler with your name on it, to
the stadium by 5:30 pm, in time for the Jr.
Varsity football game.
